- Synthesis process (substance, solution, emulsion/dispersion)
- Copolymerisation
- Polymer structure and morphology
- Important polymer classes
- Physical properties of polymers (chain conformation, solubility, miscibility, crystallinity)
- Basic methods for characterisation
- Sustainability (environmental impact, sustainable polymer synthesis and processing)
